A messy yard, overgrown with weeds, like what I have now, is a piece of nature. It has wild plants in it, it has animals in it. It is an ideal playground for my adopted child, Lilith the cat. When I look out, I don't see a mess, or a load of work to be done, I see the awesomeness of nature as it is. Seriously. Maybe it's the Discordian in me, or a rationalization of my laziness, or call it what you like, but I am genuinely happy about the state of my yard and about every piece of wild land that's still in existence. I don't necessarily see humans as a corruptive influence but I like to see a healthy balance between the Wyld and the Weaver. And I like to see the Wyrm as it used to be, a maintainer of that balance. Glass skyscrapers and wild forests *both* fascinate me. Stuff in between? Not so much.

Just wanted to put that out there as a testimony to my love for both life and death and their deep interconnectedness. :)
